Pathfinder Project

The Pathfinder Project was first established in 2374 in hopes of re-establishing communications with the USS Voyager after it was reported stranded in the Delta Quadrant.

After Voyager's successful return home in 2378 the project was closed. However with the end of the Borg War in 2398 the project was re-opened in hope that Starfleet could re-establish contact with starships presumed lost and missing in action.

The project was overseen by Captain Reginald Barclay, the head of Starfleet Communications.Following his death it was taken over by Captain Oswald Harris.
