Castor Wolfram is the head of Star Fighter Command, and a veteran pilot whose experience in combat flying dates back to the Dominion War. A living legend during the Borg Conflict, Wolfram was the primary Starfleet pilot to push for more independence for starfighter units after the success they had enjoyed during the war, and thus the most obvious choice to head up the new organisation. Although most who know of him to any degree usually fear him, he also commands respect, and the terror he instills in his subordinates often yields results.

Physical Appearance: Average height, average weight, Wolfram still bears an imposing presence, and his entire appearance is that of a man who demands respect. Despite a build which is perfect for a pilot, he has little trouble intimidating others. His once-dark hair is now a steely grey, his features worn and craggy, his good right eye a cold blue. His left eye, on the other hand, is a grim and inhuman cybernetic implant, which he usually hides behind an eyepatch that he himself can still see through. His left hand is also a fierce metallic cybernetic replacement, and these two false body parts, along with the collection of scars on his body, are a testament to a life of long, warlike, painful service.
