Enterprise NX-01

Enterprise (NX-01) was one of the most important starships of history concerning Human and Federation history. It was the first of her class (NX Class) and played a pivotal role in the formation of the Federation. It was commanded by Captain Jonathan Archer for over a decade.

A model of the NX-01 hangs in the wall casings of the USS Enterprise-F in the ship's observation lounge along with other ships named Enterprise.

Design ideas from the NX Class were used when a refit of the Norway Class was submitted. The principles behind how the NX Class deployed its phase canons were used on the Norway Class on how it deployed its unique modified phaser cannons.
