Physical Description
stout built well developed, not bulky or fat. Thinning hair combed back and cut short, a clean cut oval face with a thin mustache just over his top lip, black eyes, and hair, olive skin, an aristocratic nose and a thin mouth. He is both suave and sophisticated, and rough and tumble, capable of being either / or as the case requires. He has been burned on the left side of his face which left scarring and damaged his eye, and vocal cords. He wears a patch over his left eye and his voice sounds gravelly and rough at all times.
Command Style
His Command style is not to sit in the Captains chair but to walk around the Bridge, not micromanaging but more of a pacing, like he can't think with out his legs moving. Though since he has an injured knee he limps and uses a épée in a reinforced scabbard as a cane.
Strengths & Weaknesses
His Standard is precise and clear but when emotion rises Spanish words will appear in his speech. He is a pacer, when he is thinking he paces back and forth. He has a tendency to think everything out this is both a plus and minus for him because he looks at both sides and can understand why his opponent is taking their stand, which gives him insight on how to deal with the situation most efficiently, but it also causes him to feel bad for the other person and wish to help or at lest not hinder them in there pursuit, this can cause problems in a us or them situation but when negotiations can be made, it gives him an edge.
Since the last half of the war he has become impatient and more ready to act then wait.

Estaban likes to study tactics and politics during his off duty hours (his family is connected politically, but he does not use the political strings), he drinks and shares wine that his sister sends from the family estates in Madrid, and fencing with others when he can find a partner or a holodeck partner when he can not. He does not take much time off because he really does not know what to do with himself.
War, and Training for War, Fencing, (he was a Master of Earth Fencing at 19, he is now listed as a wizard, and he studies other races for both technique and art form he is a level 3 Master in Romulan Fencing and level 1 Master in Klingon Bladed Combat). History
Born and raised on Earth in Madrid, Spain. He had been educated by tutors and private teachers and had never attended a school with others until Star Fleet Academy the differences of going from one on one with his teachers to a public setting caused him to get lost academically, mentally and socially for the first two years, but once he found his place he started working his way up, setting up contacts and friendships, he also caught up with his academics then started to really learn and apply. He has a gift in negotiations inherited from his father. As he was growing up he worked his way to the top of the food chain with the street gangs, at seventeen his father (the head of a family owned very large, very respected interstellar import / export firm) represented to him that if he did not join Star Fleet that he would be disowned, removed from the family estate and stripped of his name. (that was the only way that he could think of to keep Estaban from making more wrong life choices) His (Estaban's father) goal for Estaban was to go into politics, or an ambassadorial position and had wanted him to retire at 37 to pursue one of those goals, but Estaban found the organization that best fit him with Star Fleet and for the first time in his life he feels like he belongs.
Service Record
He graduated Star Fleet Academy with honors in tactics and negotiations. He received Intelligence training at SB 324 both Basic and Advanced. His training was for the detection and prevention of an Intel Agent. He was assigned to the USS Saratoga, were he served as a Tactical Officer for three years then as Chief of Ops for two more. He transferred to the USS Yorktown as a Lt. and Chief of Tactical and Security he stayed there for four years leaving the Yorktown a Lt. Commander to became the XO of the USS Magellan. During the Cardasean war he was brought up for Court Martial ; for battle tactics unbecoming of a Star Fleet Officer, and for directing friendly fire on a Superior Officer, He had been in charge of directing the support fire of the USS Yorktown on a Jem?Hadar occupied planet that the Marines were taking back, one bloody minded Captain of Marines deviated from the planed operation in a barely acceptable way and Estaban had quickly refined his fire patterns, but only enough to keep from hitting the Marines with friendly fire, when the Marine Captain?s tactic failed he passed the blame to Estaban, and pressed charges. Estaban was officially reprimanded.
He has received four commendations; for Valor, twice for performance above and beyond call of duty, and for saving his people in the face of a much larger force. He had been wounded no less then seven times in the line of duty. (that he reported)
