Flight II

Flight II was a massive Starfleet ship redesign and upgrade program.

Utilizing new technologies developed during the Borg War and acquired from it's newest members, Starfleet sought to upgrade it's fleet of ships and designs with the cutting edge of 25th century technology. The prototype program Intrepid Flight II has been a reasonable success and is scheduled for launch sometime in 2405 or early 2406 at the latest.

Once flight testing is completed and certified the project will expand to two ship classes a year untill the entire catalouge of designs has been updated.
