Montgomery Scott (or Scotty to his friends) is one of the famous Engineers to serve Starfleet with such an extensive and elaborate career. He served as chief engineer on board the original USS Enterprise NCC 1701 and her successor the USS Enterprise NCC 1701 - A.
Scotty was born in 2222.
Career
2294-2369
In 2294 he entered stasis on board the transport vessel USS Jenolan shortly after the vessel crashed on a Dyson Sphere. He was retrieved by crew members from the Enterprise-D and resumed his retirement at the age of 72.
2375-2405
Captain Scott came out of retirement when Starfleet required a new director for the Starfleet Corps of Engineers. Scotty automatically agreed to the new position and began to change the Corps for the greater good of Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets.
In 2378 he visited the Ba'ku homeworld by the request of his superior officer who wished for him to remain in his position. While on the planet he oversaw the installation of a small Starfleet laboratory built by the Engineering Corps. He returned to Earth with more energy and his life expectancy expanded.
By 2409 he remains as the head of the Corps at the grand age of 103.In the early part of 2404 he joined the renegade bryan cash and aided his escape from the sol system.He remains in the briar patch on the baku planet coordinating ship repair and refit efforts with DS-1. Currently he is taking a sabbatical from the SCE and serving aboard the USS Venture Star as CEO at the request of Admiral Alex Chadwick and Fleet Admiral Taylor. The rejuvenating effects on baku have de aged the Great engineer to his appearance when he was in his mid forties. When and if scotty returns to the baku planet his accumulated time there will reset his age to his mid thirties and effectively make him immortal as long as he remains on planet.
