Rachel Hernandez is in her late thirties. She is tall, has dark brown hair that reached her shoulders which curled round underneath her chin. Her brown eyes broke through her well tanned Caucasian skin. She currently holds the rank of captain in Starfleet and serves as the commanding officer overseeing the construction and development team for the USS Columbia. In 2403 she met Fleet Captain Zack Marshall-Bennet on Earth during his vacation at Hawaii. The two dined together and swapped notes on their commands (DS1 & ENT-F "A Good Day To Arise").
