Romulan Senate

The Romulan Senate was the official government body of the Romulan Star Empire. The senate was a collection of Romulus's highest ranking politicians. Only a few members from the Senate had survived the Borg attack on Romulus in 2387. Those left agreed to join the Federation after a much heated debate between them.

Once the Romulans joined the Federation four of the previous Romulan Senators were offered positions on the Federation Council. Only three of them agreed with the fourth taking a position in Starfleet. Those three people still sit on the Federation council.
