Physical Description

Standing at six feet tall and weighing just under one hundred and sixty pounds Rory is most often described as a living warp core. Strong and very healthy with a full head of thick brown Irish hair. Rory is often seen with either a wrench in his hand or a smile on his face.Most often found deep within the bowls of whatever ship he's assigned to Rory works tirelessly to maintain a good working ship.

History

The second known survivor of the incident that brought a 23rd century starship known as Venture Star to the 24th century. Rory had the least amount of trouble acclimating and relearning to fully enter the strange new world he had found himself in. In 2375 He attended a special six month retraining program started by Montgomery Scott in the SCE.Passing with flying colors Rory was assigned as an Engineer on the USS Courageous. Shortly after the start of the Borg war Rory found himself recalled to the sol system and assigned to Utopia Planitia Shipyards. Put in charge of the Advanced Theoretical Design Team. Rory was charged with rapid development of weapons ships systems and advanced theoretical designs. Every major project currently on the design boards or in any state of construction was evaluated and design changes implemented to get the systems and ships completed and out into space to fight in an ever expanding and growing war.

Several major developments in weapons design came out of the ATD Team including the Phaser cannons utilized on the Enterprise and Venture Star Class designs. As well as the completion of reverse engineering of several of the Futuristic technology brought home from the Delta Quadrant by USS Voyager. It was during this time that Rory noticed a very unique design that had stalled shortly before the borg war began. Schematics and plans for a True carrier class of ship. The largest most complex unique and powerful Starship ever to be put to a PADD in Starfleet history. The Battle Carrier Ark Royal.....

Personality & Traits

Strengths & Weaknesses Rory walks with a limp on his left side after suffering a broken leg during one of the last

battles of the dominion war he was unable to get immediate medical attention and has never taken

the time in recent years to get the damaged leg fully repaired.He also has a slight impairment

in his right eye that as of yet as not caused him sight troubles. Ambitions Never desiring to any greater position then chief engineer of a starship rory is right where he has always wanted to be since starting his career in star fleet.
