Sat'n Tor'cis

Sat'n Tor'cis is a Romulan nationalist political party. It advocates a strong "returnist" position in Federation politics, arguing that it should be the priority of the Federation to bulid and support a massive project of re-coloninazation of the Alpha and Beta quardrents, especially in the case of returning former major powers to thier homeworlds. There is an unstated undercurrent of secessionist thinking in much of the political thinking behind such policy proposals, but Sat'n Tor'cis is unusual in that they are quite explict in thier desire for Romulans to eventually succeed from the Federation and return to thier homeworld. The group was founded in 2397, but remained a minor party for its first few years of operation. In mid-2303, the party chairmanship was taken over by Talis Sciven, and has begun a period of rapid expansion in size and influence within the Romulan community.
