The Office

The Office, officially known as the Central Office of Temporal Investigations, is a small facility built in an old ice house in New Orleans. Many cubicles occupy it, each one staffed by a member of the Temporal Investigations Staff, with a loft that holds Eden Enigma's desk, allowing her to watch the entire building at once. The building's environmental control systems are unreliable, leading some members of the staff to prefer to work from home or on the Foresight.

The Office has a back lot, in which there is a single slender pine tree that is worthless for shade. The USS Manhattan rests in this lot when not in use.
