USS Vindicator

A Nova Class ship designated NCC-. Assigned to Captain Noran Gyle for development of new weaon systems in 2389 when the development of Hellfire Torpedoes was cancelled. The Vindicator saw combat for the first, and last, time at the Battle of Sol where it demonstrated its new weapon system by methodically destroying five Borg cubes. However this new weapon system worked, Starfleet Command took issue with it. Following the Battle of Sol, Noran Gyle was court martialed, stripped of his rank, and dishonorably dischared from Starfleet while his ship was summarily decomissioned.
