Becoming a Non-Commissioned Officer
In 2390 Angus became a Quartermaster's Mate 3rd Class and officially a Non-Commissioned Officer. He would serve in the Operations Division of Starship Operations till 2393 where he would retrain as a pilot.
Promotion to Chief Petty Officer
Angus, having qualified as a Helmsman 2nd Class in 2394 and got his selection for Chief Petty Officer. He was successful and would serve for the next 3 and a half years as a Chief Petty Officer.
Promotion to Senior Chief Petty Officer
On recommendation of his Commanding Officer, Chief Chaplin, after 3 months experience standing in as a Chief of the Boat. Present on the Board of Master Chiefs to endorse the promotion include Master Chief Petty Officer Damian S. Lehmann (also a pilot) and a former Senior Enlistedman Angus had served with in Operations.
