Shallash Glav is a Tellarite male, who serves as a Councillor and representative of his people stranded on Earth as well as Tellar Prime in the Federation Council. He lives in a Tellarite settlement near Lyon in France. Glav is close friends with Sophie Belmont who is the current Administrator of the Atlantis Project, and in 2401 agreed to bring forth a motion to the Council, appealing for funding for an exploratory phase of the project. He remains a supporter of the project, hoping that if it is successful, it will benefit his people, directly.
In 2404 he was supported by Shannon Keaton the councillor for Earth and other council members to dissolve the Federation Senate. Their proposal was in motion when the Senate building was bombed by terrorists. He later joined Keaton by orders of Federation President Spock to tour the Bajoran Commonwealth at the beginning of 2405 (ENT-F: Beyond The Next Star).
