Real Life Stuff
Name: Jessie
Age: 23
Date of Birth: November 22, 1983
Star sign: Scorpio/Sagittarius (cusp)
Jess resides in the United Arab Emirates and has been there for the past ten years, however she doesn't come from UAE or the Middle East itself.
She recently graduated from Univeristy of Wollongong in Dubai and currently holds the Bachelor of Internet Science and Technology degree specializing in Internet Commerce. In addition to that she is also a Cambridge qualified and fully certified English language teacher having gotten her CELTA in 2005.
She's a fan of a lot of series, including: Stargate SG1, Due South, JAG, NCIS, Firefly, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., Mutant X, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Murphy Brown, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Angel, Quantum Leap, and others.
She enjoys listening to Bryan Adams, Jon Bon Jovi, generic rock music, Shania Twain, most 80's songs as well as classical music and soundtracks, depending on the mood she's in. She can also play the piano, flute, a little bit of guitar and is a hell of a singer having been doing stage performances since a tender age of 6 given her mother's background in music. Jess spent two years as part of an all-female acapella group Sweet Adelines International.
Currently Jessie is unemployed and looking for a job in a field that might interest her given her experience as a writer, editor, Library Assistant, operations team leader and Stage Manager for a number of performances amongst a wide array of other odd jobs. (Does anyone else think she's gotten the wrong degree?)
