Helen Beckett is currently and educational administrator for the Starfleet starbase of Deep Space Five and the Federation colony of New Kashmir. A qualified schoolteacher, she devoted most of her time during the Borg War towards aid work for the support of planets harmed by the conflict or relocated refugees. A previous University Chancellor on Earth, she has come to the Algedi System due to the reassignment of her husband, Edward Beckett, as DS5's Commanding Officer.
