The Klingon Defence Force is the interstellar military of the Klingon Empire composing of the Imperial Fleet and the Empire's ground warriors. Before the war, its headquarters were located at Ty'Gokor. By 2154, the KDF had the ability to destroy entire planets, which they have historically employed in order to contain a mutagenic virus and destroy the Tribble homeworld.
