USS Kirk NCC-99728

The USS Kirk is a Galaxy Refit Class starship serving in the Earth Defence Force, named for her lost predecessor. It is currently commanded by Commodore Aziel Grex. The Kirk is tasked in lead the task group in the defence of Mars in the Sol sector.

The crew of the Kirk were originally assigned to the starship Oberon, however they were ordered to the Kirk by Fleet Admiral Taylor
