Afton O'Grady (nicknamed "Irish") was the pilot of the SS Starlight in the early 25th century in the aftermath of the Borg War and the current longest serving member of the crew, next to Captain Davies.
She was the daughter to Doctor Kenin LeGoz and Patrick O'Grady.

"Irish" earned her nickname because of her mass of red curls, and because she really doesn't care for her given name. She is quick with a smile, and has an easygoing attitude. While she is a bit of a flirt, she isn't terribly serious about striking up a permanent relationship.
