Nausicaan Raiders

Nausicaan Raiders are small combat crafts operated by the Nausicaans. The design hasn't changed since the 22nd Century, only the technology employed on these crafts. For the Nausicaans these have became reliable starships. They are mainly used for piracy, where they work together in no less then three ships to a task group and armed with high yield plasma cannons. They are fast at both sublight and light speeds and are well defended with powerful shielding.

None the less five raiders attempted to take on the joint might of the USS Enterprise-F and USS Achilles in 2405 and were no match for the powerful Starfleet ships. Enterprise's type fifteen phaser banks were able to score multiple direct hits to each craft in less then two minutes resulting in damaging on all crafts (ENT-F: "A Good Day To Fight").
