USS Achilles

The USS Achilles (NCC-2006-C) is an Explorer Class ship under the command of Captain Samantha Reynolds. Just after 2388 the ship was assigned to a task force sent to find out what happened to the Klingon Empire during the Borg War. The ship was heavily damaged during several battles with the enemy and was forced to hide for many years, fending off assaults from various crafts. The ship was rescued and repaired many years later by the USS Enterprise-F in 2404 (ENT-F:"A Good Day To Defend").

The ship continued to aide the Enterprise in its mission to the Verex system to find out more information about the current status of the Klingon Empire. While in Verex the ship participated in assisting the Enterprise in a battle to remove the Orion Syndicate from the Verex system and the Borderland region for good (ENT-F:"A Good Day To Fight").

The ship remained with the Enterprise after the battle at Verex, and was present when they visited the Archer system. The Achilles helped in defending the system against an approaching Klingon armada and successfully fought off the Klingons. The Achilles later returned to Earth and was assigned back to the Archer system to assist in rebuilding the system's interplanetary defence network (ENT-F:"A Good Day To Die").
