Reino Manak is the host of the Manak symbiont, and the head nurse aboard the USS Foresight. She is a recent graduate from Starfleet Medical and her assignment to the USS Foresight is her first. She seems to have a knack for misunderstandings and for being forced to act as though she holds a higher position. She is fiercely loyal to her captain, and to the crew of the Foresight.

During The Orb of Time mission, Reino Manak had a run in with Arcadia Ruiz. Reino had gone to Starfleet Medical in order to recruit Arcadia to come to Eden Enigma's aide. Unfortunately, the two seemed to come to a major misunderstanding, and butted heads quite a bit. Luckily, Reino's insistence that Eden needed the aide eventually swayed Arcadia into helping out. Also during The Orb of Time, Reino Manak was contacted by a mysterious voice through her commbadge, and she heard that voice while she was waitressing during Enigma's Eleven, but was unable to discern who it came from.

Reino Manak grew close to Sopek during Enigma's Eleven, becoming one of the only crew members that actually understands the vulcan.
