Sh'avern th’Teris is an Andorian scientist and is one of the Federation’s foremost experts in nanotechnology. He assisted in creating the electro-magnetic setting on all new phasers to disable Borg drones. He did research in to Borg adaptable technology. Along with several other engineers, technicians and scientists Teris was ordered to enhance pulse phaser cannons with using principal technology from Dominion Phase Polaron disruptors as well to create enhancements to the type two Hellfire torpedo, but his last communiqué with Starfleet Tactical in 2394 reported that he had found away to enhance the Transphasic torpedo. He was sent to Andoria to develop his research.
