Out of Character Overview

The USS Excalibur is a Futility's End simm focused on the happenings around the USS Excalibur and the carrier task group assigned to it. It is a "base on wheels" of sorts which acts in relatively solitude to handle any situation which might arise.

In Character Overview

The USS Excalibur launched in 2410 before she was completed and with no fanfare. Pressed into service as a reaction to problems in the outer parts of the Federation, her crew is tasked with putting things together on-the-fly even as they are throw into situation after situation with little to no help from Starfleet.

The newly minted commanding officer, Robert Martens, is tasked with leading his crew into some of the most dangerous part of the Federation not just to re-explore, but to help those who need it and put down those who threaten innocents. With the small task force in tow, they deal with any situation that might arise in the hopes of restoring the Federation more quickly.

Carrier Task Group Composition

The task group is composed of four main vessels along with a myriad of smaller support vessels.
