Starfleet Security & Tactical

Starfleet Security & Tactical is the current division which co-ordinates all defence and security strategies for the Federation. The division is based on Earth, in North America near Death Valley National Park in California. Currently Admiral Jackie Clawson heads the division with Leroy Jenkins as her Chief of Staff.
The division was previously two separate entities however Starfleet Security and Starfleet Tactical were merged in 2398 in hopes of improving the defense and security of the Federation.
Admiral Kathryn Janeway served as director of the division in 2395 as she led the Federation Fleet in fighting the Borg. Three years later with the merge of Starfleet Security Rear Admiral Tuvok took over as it's head. Vice Admiral Tuvok was killed in 2404 by Fleet Admiral Daniel Taylor, after it was alleged Tuvok attempted to assassinate the commander in chief.

- Lieutenant Commander Helfer (female) - Helfer was the immediate supervisor of Admiral Paris' security arrangements when he visited the Atlantis Project in early 2404. (SFC: "A Tale of Two Cities")
