The Borderland is a region of space where between space belonging to the Klingon Empire and the Orions. Among many systems include the Verex System. In early 2404 the USS Enterprise-F entered the Borderland region to determine the status of the Klingon Empire. While in the Borderland the Enterprise was able to remove a major threat to Federation security from the Orion Syndicate with aide from the USS Achilles. (ENT-F "A Good Day To Arise")
