Sojal is a Vulcan and was a member of the senior executive branch in the Vulcan High Command in 2403. He was arrested for the charges of treason, man-slaughter and direct violation of Vulcan customs after supporting Loval in his actions to erradicate the T'Plana-Hath Movement from Vulcan (DS1: "The Vulcan Connection").
