The USS Boston (NCC-78539) is an Ambassador Class starship formerly commanded by Captain Desmond Morris.
History
The Boston has served under Morris' command in every major Federation conflict since the Cardassian War. The Boston led a task force of ships out of the First Fleet to join Bryan Cash and the crew of the USS Voyager in 2403 in protest against current Federation and Starfleet policies and idealogy. The Boston also brought Cash's XO, Captain Rownen McKensie's family along with them and out of danger. The Boston also carried a message from Admiral Judith Marshall-Bennet to McKensie to deliver to Cash informing him of her support in his cause.
