Romulus is a class M planet and the homeworld of the Romulan people and the former capital world of the Romulan Star Empire. A majority of the planet was evacuated to other worlds in 2387 as the Borg invaded Romulan territory.
No expedition to determine the ultimate fate of the Romulan homeworld was launched between the ending of the Borg War up until at least 2408.
