    — Raven

Raven (alias Maria Hunter, alias Aveline Grayson) was the name given to the unknown entity recruited by Admiral Cash to serve as the director to Cell Alpha, the flagship unit of the Cerberus Institute. She could continue on this role until late-2410 where she was assigned as the Security Chief for the USS Adventure under the alias of Aveline Grayson.

A position she was placed by Commodore Chadwick in as a way of fulfilling both Starfleet's desire to see their loan of the Adventure not end with a rogue starship while at the same time providing a person whom would be able to work with the eclectic crew.

History

Little to nothing exists of Raven's history, even her own name. To those whom would bother to look would find only her cover story, and those whom dared to push furthur would find only a long history of covers that lead back to before the Borg War in the twilight years of the Dominion War. The moniker "Raven", a codename itself, is the closest anyone had every managed to find for her original name.

Personality Profile

A consummate chameleon, Raven's personality would adjust to whatever role she was given. In many ways she had been compared to one of the Dominion's shapeshifting leaders, the Founders, for being able to change into whatever role is needed.

Outside of her role, she seems to adopt a very nihilistic, yet philosophical view of reality. Amongst some of the habits that she takes with her as a keen bibliophilia, often amassing a small library with her wherever she is stationed. A particular favourite of hers was the ancient Jules Verne novel "Vingt mille lieues sous les mers" and the character of Captain Nemo. A character that some would argue she might share one or two aspects with.

In her role as Aveline, one might view her as a completely irreverent yet adaptable officer whom had spent much of her life as a star child and later as a member in Cash's Renegades.

Additional Information

  • Raven generally was known to speak in a strongly British English accent, predominantly Received Pronunciation (also known as Queen's English).
