Shinzon

Shinzon was a clone of Jean Luc Picard created by the Romulan Star Empire in an attempt to place a spy in the heart of the Federation. However Shinzon was never sent on his secret mission to infiltrate Starfleet and was exiled to the mines of Remus. It was here he grew up alongside his Reman "brothers" and led them to victory against their opressors, the Romulan Senate to whom he killed and took the title of Praetor of the Empire.

Shinzon was killed during combat when his vessel, the Scimitar engaged the USS Enterprise NCC 1701 – E and two Valdore Class warbirds in the Bassen Rift. The combined Starfleet-Romulan effort was hoping to prevent Shinzon was from unleashing an attack against Earth using Thalaron radiation.
