Joseph Pike II is the chief security and tactical officer of the USS Enterprise-F.

Personal Background

Before 2401

Joe was born on the USS Sentinel. After a few months his parnets learned that he had some telepathic ablities from his father's side. Then a few months later a "trusted" friend of the family kiddnapped Joe and learned that the person was part of the Orion Syndicate. His mother left the Sentinel in search finding there son while his father stayed on the Sentinel also hopeing to one day find him. Finally with the help of a Klingon house and his mothet Joe Jr. managed to escape from the Orions and reuntied with his dad by the age of 1. The Klingon house and the Pike's grew close. The childern grew up togther, Joe and the eldest two became real close even taking a blood oath. At the age of 17, Joe entered Starfleet Academy. Two years into the academy he learned that his one of his oath brothers was killed by the Borg which angered Joe very much. But after some time off, he graduated from the acadmey with high honors. Joe's first assignement was on the USS Iowa-A as a Security Officer. In 2398 after being promoted to Lt.(Jg) and becomming Asst.Chief Security on the Iowa-A, Joe found out that his mother was killed and his father being injured by the Borg. Joe took some time off from Starfleet to be with his dad and mourn the death of his mother.

After 2401

Joe returned to active duty in 2401 and was originally assigned as the chief security and tactical officer of Deep Space One. He was promoted to the full rank of lieutenant in early 2403. At this time he also became romantically involved with then Lieutenant Kentra Donrav before her death on Andoria.
