City Overview

An image of the city taken from the water off the docks. The distinctive TransAmerica pyramid can clearly be seen in the centre of the image

San Francisco is one on the major population centres on Earth playing host to many large and important organisations. Traditionally one of America's most beautiful cities, the ever increasing population and use of primitive fuel has meant that pollution has become a problem for the city's populace to deal with. Though the city has not suffered the same level of pollution as others such as Los Angeles and areas remain pleasurable, the effect of the war has hit home here.

The Docks

Hundreds of boats now line the eastern docks, offering cramped and sub-standard accomodation for a price to those who can find nothing better. There have been small movements by the city council to work against this, but priorities are elsewhere. The small police presence in the area has led to it becoming a favourite haunt for thieves and drug dealers, and residents are advised not to walk alone in the area after nightfall.
