The Continental News Corporation most commonly referred to as CNC is an American based news broadcaster, typicaly associated with liberal views.

In early 2404, CNC ran a live broadcast with Elton Clark of the firearms interest Silver Group, in which Clark claimed to have spoken to an anonymous source within Starfleet Security who had revealed that the proposed firearms ban in San Francisco was "merely a precursor to a full weapons ban across the planet."
