The USS Constitution was a working replica of the famous first of the illustrious class of starship. Resided in the Starfleet Museum after her completion for over 70 years.

Thought lost during the Battle for Sol.

Discovered and repaired by SCE chief Montgomery Scott in 2402, Constitution was abandoned in The Field during an escape by Renegade Admiral Cash during 2403. Recovered covertly from the field, Constitution was towed back to the Briar Patch where she has been a pet project of Scotty's ever since. Constantly tinkering with her systems and making improvements while still retaining her classic look and design.

Retrofitted for advanced automation, Constitution only needs a handful of people to operate. Controlling the majority of the automation is a series of three cannibalized Danube Class Runabout computer cores located near main engineering in the secondary hull. Outfitted with her standard weaponry and more advanced MLSS shielding constitution is capable of defending her self in limited engagements. Depending mostly on her warp drive to escape emergency situations she is capable of a emergency warp 7.3 for three hours and a normal cruising speed of 5.8 that scotty hopes to improve to 6 with the addition of more salvaged components.
