Oook is, in reality, Cath Stinton, a currently unemployed resident of Lancaster, and perhaps (it's hard to say just yet) a graduate of Lancaster University. She lives in a house of geekery, surrounded by other roleplayers and general gamers, while hunting for some means to pay the rent on said house. A job might perhaps do it.
She is an ex-President and current member of the Lancaster University Role-Playing Society (AKA 'LURPS' or 'Geeks Anonymous'), and has a fixation with writing which could probably be pinned down as a decent attempt at vast escapism. Escaping from what is a valid question to which there isn't much of an answer.
In Futility's End she formerly ran the game Star Trek: The Angry Apes, and the character of Joseph Ryan. More primarily, she has taken on characters who were formerly inconsequential NPCs or characters of hers whose FE futures were uncertain, such as Robert Callahan, Hurgh, and Claire Tauvits, and combined them all into what is rapidly and uncontrollably turning into a sequence of short stories of life on board the USS Perseus. The future of this project, the characters, and whether it find its own particular theme, plot, or story name are all uncertain. It shall be resolved when Cath can be bothered.
Her most significant project In Futility's End currently is the directing of the character of Alexander Stark, and his campaign in the upcoming Presidential elections.
Rumour has it she plays some characters in mainstream Bravo Fleet, but as this is simming that isn't Futility's End, nobody cares.
