Yupa

Yupa was a Nausicaan man who ran the last remains of the Orion Syndicate in the Verex System. He had close ties with the Klingon Empire, especially with a General Kohlart, the Klingon who led an attack against Deep Space One in late 2403.

Yupa had several dealings with Nicovaler, an Orion buisness women who resided on Verex III on many occassions. He even had her sister, D’Neshka kidnapped.

His ships engaged the USS Enterprise-F and USS Achilles in 2405 when they entered the Verex system but were no match for the two ships. Hoping to fob Starfleet out of the system he recommended them to meet with Nicovaler who he hoped wouldn't have the information they were looking for. However she offered Fleet Captain Zack Marshall-Bennet an exclusive offer which would benefit her, Verex III and the Federation. Yupa and his asteroid base, along with his ships were destroyed during an attack by the two Starfleet ships, wiping out the Orion Syndicate for good (ENT-F: "A Good Day To Fight").
