Regulus

Regulus is a star system close to Vulcan. In 2403 Starfleet recieved confirmation from Outpost 3 that the Vulcan High Command had dispatched several of their cruisers in to the system. Their proximity was close to Andoria which resulted in Starfleet ordering their ships in the area to go to Tactical Alert and prepare for a possible attack. The attack never happened and one ship from the Vulcan task force was sent to aide the USS Enterprise at Weytahn (DS1: "Along The Stream").
