Star Trek: Hell Hounds (also known as the "Star Trek: The Hellhounds Dossier") is a PBF sim focusing around the activities of the "flagship team" of the Cerberus Institute, Cell Alpha, better known as the Hell Hounds based autonomously throughout the Federation in the early 25th century in the aftermath of the Federation Civil War.
- Unlike it's predecessors, this incarnation of the Hellhounds attempts to present a glimpse into such organisations as Section 31, SSI and not solely around organisations based from bodies such as FMI, SSI or SABRE.

Overview (IC)
It is an age of discord amongst the known galaxy... Within the Federation, turmoil and betrayal had gripped the once shining beacon of civilisation as the "Kirok Administration" attempted to cement it's hold over the populous. Meanwhile, far beyond it's borders, threats such as the Harvesters and the Borg once more have risen to fight from the shadows. The Cerberus Institute was formed to combat these threats and more, standing as the shield in the shadows for the Federation and Starfleet, and possibly the very last remnants of civilisation and life in the galaxy. We stand beyond Starfleet and the FMI. We stand beyond the Federation itself in our pursuit of these threats. The 25th century is where all will change. |

OOC Summary
This sim is headed by The "Doc".
This sim was developed in an attempt to bridge the concepts presented in Torchwood with the dark and tumultuous era that FE shines it's light upon, to distance ourselves from the "mold" of most Trek sims that are focused around heavily militarised rank-and-file stories and attempt to bring a sense of greater vulnerability to the reader/s. It also borrows some of it's atmosphere and elements from Darker Projects The Section 31 files.
