The USS Stahl NCC-90027 is a Defiant Class starship and was launched in 2399 under the command of Lance Brandon. The Stahl is of the flight two variet of Federation ships incorporating "alien" technology into the designs systems. Such as Dominion transporters, Romulan plasma torpedos and Breen biological systems to name only a few.
The dedication plaque reads the motto of: "...never stop fighting...the battle has just began..."
History
In early 2402 the Stahl was in orbit of Earth when the under cloak the USS Enterprise-F attempted to make the Federation Council cancel the order of removing the Ba'ku inhabitants again and stop the use of the salvaged Son'a Collector. Months later the Stahl was alongside the USS Bellerophon when the Enterprise returned to Earth for upgrades in preparation for its mission to Vulcan.
