Bennet and Commander [[T’Val]] meet with a [[Tellarite]] freighter captain called [[Graarg]] who believes that by helping the Starfleet officers out in introducing them to Nicovaler they will aide in removing the Orion Syndicate presence from the Verex system and the Borderland region for good. They assure him they are not part of an invasion force sent by the Federation, but he has a feeling they will end up removing the Syndicate one way or another. He speaks with Nicovaler who will only meet with Bennet on their own. The captain, even though told by his officers not to proceed alone follows Graarg and meets with Nicovaler.

Summary
