History

Servok was the daughter of two Vulcan scientists who raised her to enter the sciences as well. She trained to be a historian at the Vulcan Science Academy and then after graduation and one year of teaching she decided to enter Starfleet. She graduated from Starfleet Academy in the top of her class in the sciences, though she did less well in the command and tactics courses, and was assigned to Starbase One.

After two years she was transfered to the USS Constitution where she served, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. However after attempting to blow the ship up to prevent it from messing with the timeline, she was charged with treason and though the charges were dropped she ended up resigning from Starfleet.

She spent the next several years learning to rebuild her emotional control, which had been lost during her time in Starfleet. She returned to Starfleet during the Borg War, serving on Earth. She lost both of her parents when the Borg attacked Vulcan.

After the war she married William Hume, a Romulan raised by Humans who had served on the USS Laffey during before and during the war. She remained on Earth while he has been reassigned to the Excalibur. Servok was assigned to Starfleet Operations in early 2404. During a heated first interview with her new commander Anthony Brooks, Servok was informed that her posting to the Department indicated, "nothing other than [she was] available;" Brooks indicating he "would have taken a drunk Yridian" at that point in time. Views

  • On her attempts to destroy the Constitution:
  • On altering the timeline:
    • ""There is currently no way for us to know how our changes to the past would affect the present. Any sort of attempt to alter history is imprecise and would be as likely to make things worse than better. It would be like performing heart surgery with a betleH."
    • The over riding order is the Prime Directive. Interfering in the past, no matter how important it might seem, breaks that Directive. Even if it is our own past we are dealing with, by its very nature it is a less developed culture." - to Anthony Brooks in early 2404. (SFC: "A Tale of Two Cities")
  • On the Vulcan conflict:
    • "I will serve the best interests of Starfleet and the Federation. My home world may be at war with Starfleet, but this is now where my loyalty lies." - to Anthony Brooks in early 2404. (SFC: "A Tale of Two Cities")
