The Borg War was a terrible conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Borg Collective from mid 2382 to 2398. The war saw billions of people killed however the Federation was victorious in its fight against the cybernetic race. Extra details can be found under Borg.

- 2382 - The Federation learns of a Borg incursion into the Tholian Assembly, with the loss of the Tholian homeworld. The Second Fleet is sent to the Tholianborder to assist in the evacuation of Starfleet and Federation Civilian forces. All Federation Starbases undergo defence-oriented refits.
