USS Enterprise NX-1701-F was the second starship to leave the Sol System after the Borg War in 2400 (ENT-F:"The Winds Of Change"). She is an Enterprise Class starship and currently serves as the flagship of the Federation and is part of the Fourth Fleet.

Background
The Enterprise-F was the first of her class and was the first Enterprise with the 1701 registry number to have a NX as part of her prefix. The vessel was the largest ship when she entered service and was built to assist with the defence and re-building phase for the Federation.
History
The vessel was launched from the San Francisco Shipyards on stardate 77502.811, 1st January 2400 under the command of Captain Eden Engima (ENT-F:"The Winds Of Change").
The vessel participated with re-exploring the surrounding areas near to Earth from 2400-2401. In that time the vessel re-established contact with Alpha Centauri as well several important Federation members(ENT-F:"Return To The Stars ").
In 2402 the ship was dry-docked to recieve important upgrades that were left out when it was built. The vessel is also re-assigned as the support vessel to newly established station, Deep Space One under the command of Captain Zack Marshall-Bennet (DS1:"Back To The Final Frontier").
By the end of 2402 the vessel had participated in preventing the second re-location of the Ba'ku (DS1:"Just In Time"). As well the ship re-established contact with the Bajorans , Ferengi, Cardassians and Yridians (DS1:"The Best Is Yet To Come").
